What are printables?
Not sure what printables are or what you should do with them? You're not alone! Scroll now to learn more about printables.
So, what are they?
Printables are files (generally art prints or fillable worksheets) that you can download and print at home on your own printer (or get printed somewhere else if needed).
Some printables are free (like the ones we send every week in our newsletter, learn more about those here) and some are available for purchase (like ours right here). Either way, when you download a printable, it's usually either a zip file (containing multiple files) or a single file (jpg, pdf, png, doc, etc).
For most of our printables, you'll get a zip file that contains 2 PDF files (one in color, one in grayscale). PDF files can be easily opened in any number of programs (including most internet browsers and Adobe's free Acrobat Reader). Once opened, you can print your files on your home printer or your office's printer. You can also get your file(s) printed at your local copy shop or even at most photo printers. There are also some great printing companies online.Â
What happens when I buy them?
Most printables, like ours, are automatically sent directly to your email after purchase. Nothing gets shipped. This means you can buy a printable and print it out at home and start using it or hang it up within minutes! How cool is that?
We think the best thing about printables is their low price. Because we don’t need to print and physically ship our printables to you (have you seen shipping costs these day?!), that dramatically reduces how much we need to charge for each item.Â
Another great thing is how eco-friendly printables are. Because you’re printing them yourself, you eliminate all the packaging that pre-printed items would need to protect them in transit. You’re also reducing your carbon footprint not having these items transported to you. No gas is used to move your item and no pollution is produced by those trucks and planes that carry your mail.
Bonus! If you open our printables and write on them directly on your phone or tablet, then you don't even have to use any paper!Â
How awesome is that?Â
