Product Info

Is your mind going a million miles a minute? Slow down with this printable mindfulness exercise.

Mindful breathing is a simple exercise that involves focusing on your on breath and redirecting your attention back to your breathing whenever it wanders. However, focusing on the breath alone can be a bit difficult at times, so this activity gives you a few more anchors for your attention - your senses of sight and touch.

For this activity, you'll use your finger to trace the art. You'll watch your finger to engage your sense of sight. You'll also feel the paper as your finger moves across the page. And finally, you'll focus on your breathing, paying attention to the rise and fall of your chest.

Print these out and use them anywhere (the classroom, doctor's office, dentist's chair, etc).

Research says: Those who practice mindful breathing regularly may feel less anxiety and a greater sense of focus and calm.

What are printables?

What are printables exactly? What do I do with them?

Not sure what printables are? That’s okay! Let’s go over what printables are and why they’re awesome!

Printables are pieces of art, fillable worksheets, or other images that you can download and print at home on your own printer (or get printed somewhere else if needed). Some printables are free (like the ones we send every week in our newsletter, learn more about them here) and some are for sale. Either way, you get a PDF file that you can easily open in any number of programs and print at home, work, your local copy shop, or even most photo printers. There are also some great printing companies online.

Most printables, like ours, are instantly delivered directly to your email after purchase. This means you can buy a printable and print it out at home and start using it right away! Or, if it’s an art print, you can print it out and hang it up on your walls immediately. How cool is that?

We think the best thing about printables is their low price. Because we don’t need to print and physically ship our printables to you (have you seen shipping costs these day?!), that dramatically reduces how much we need to charge for each item.

Another great thing is how eco-friendly printables are. Because you’re printing them yourself, you eliminate all the packaging that pre-printed items would need to protect them in transit. You’re also reducing your carbon footprint not having these items transported to you. No gas is used to move your item and no pollution is produced by those trucks and planes carrying your mail. Bonus! If you open our printables and write on them directly on your phone or tablet, then you don't even have to use any paper!

How awesome is that?

  • Great for the classroom

I was given one of these to try with my students. I wanted to try something that might help them calm down and remain seated during class. I noticed a huge difference to their behavior when we tried it. They loved that it was a dog, it seemed to make them feel better, like it was their pet. I'm so thankful this helped.

  • I love printables!!

They couldn't be easier or more satisfying. I love that I don't need to wait and I can start using them right away.

  • Get the DIY version

I'm an adult with anxiety who was lucky enough to try Ehno (the cat) before the official release. I got the DIY version and added about 12lbs of steel shot beads. It was really easy to fill, and it's just the right amount of heavy for me. I found it really soothing to place him on my chest when I was feeling anxious. It feels wonderful (and he's so cute 😻).
